ExifTool
ExifTool is a useful third party tool that can automatically extract embedded file data during upload and add it to the resource metadata. Super admins can configure which metadata fields this information is stored in, allowing data from the file to be mapped to the most relevant fields. Common examples include importing document titles, image credits, or capturing technical details such as camera information, dimensions, and orientation.
The important thing to remember about using the ExifTool is:
Exiftool extracted data will overwrite data entered in the upload form by default
So it's a good idea to consider this option when uploading.
