We’ve welcomed some great new organisations to ResourceSpace over the last few months. Whether starting to use a DAM for the first time or moving across from another system, we’re always happy to bring new users on board from across the not-for-profit, public, heritage, academic and commercial sectors.
Safe Haven for Donkeys was set up in 2000 to help working donkeys, providing lifelong sanctuary care, rescue centres, and clinics throughout Israel, the Palestinian Territories (West Bank) and Egypt. With mobile and permanent clinics across these regions, the organisation works to treat injuries and educate owners to prevent further suffering. In 2024, they launched a new first aid clinic in Gaza, bringing relief to some of the thousands of donkeys, mules and horses suffering as a result of the current conflict.
Practical Action is a UK-based international development charity that works with communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America to tackle poverty and build resilient, sustainable livelihoods. They focus on areas such as clean energy, sustainable agriculture, water and waste management to help people thrive despite environmental, economic and social challenges. The organisation also helps drive systemic change so that small, community-led innovations can scale up and benefit many more people.
Ely Cathedral is a Christian church offering daily worship and a place of prayer and sanctity. It is the seat of the Bishop of Ely and the mother church of over 300 parishes that make up the Diocese of Ely. A historical monument, Ely Cathedral welcomes thousands of pilgrims and visitors every year and hosts a wide range of events, from lunchtime recitals and ‘Hidden Heights’ tours, to live opera and silent discos.
Based in New York, The Strong National Museum of Play is a collections-based museum devoted entirely to the study and history of play. It houses the National Toy Hall of Fame, the World Video Game Hall of Fame, interactive exhibits like Sesame Street and the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden, and other immersive spaces exploring games, story books and children’s culture. The museum combines historical interpretation with hands-on experiences, and regularly hosts special exhibits like the recent “War Toys: Ukraine”, to highlight the impact of play in broader cultural and social contexts.
Swiss advertising company APG|SGA specialises in digital and analogue media located in public spaces such as streets, railway stations, airports and shopping centres. It plans, installs and manages a wide network of advertising panels and screens, offers marketing and leasing of these sites, and supports advertisers with campaign planning, execution and performance measurement. The company also develops related services like urban street furniture, live promotional events and targeted mobile advertising, combining traditional formats with interactive and digital media to inspire communication in public spaces.
PCE Ltd is a UK-based construction and engineering firm that specialises in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and offsite building solutions, delivering across the residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors. Using modern methods of construction and digital technologies, they prefabricate components offsite, combining materials such as precast concrete, engineered timber and steel to improve quality, speed, cost predictability and safety on a wide range of projects.
Belgium based HOGENT is the largest University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Flanders, offering a wide range of programmes at eight campuses across the cities of Ghent and Aalst, in the Flemish part of Belgium. With twelve interdisciplinary sites, there's even a map of quiet and peaceful spaces for students and staff to record and find new spots to relax between classes.
The Academy for impact through music, AIM, is focused on using music education as a tool for personal and community empowerment. The organisation runs programmes and training to help teachers, leaders and young people develop artistic skills, agency and community-building capabilities. Its flagship Firebird Fellowship is an in-depth 12 month teaching programme to train teachers across Latin America and beyond.
