23rd October 2019
We are delighted to announce that ResourceSpace has been named in Gartner's Market Guide for Digital Asset Management, one of only 21 vendors to have been chosen.
The report was published with the aim of helping marketing leaders to scope requirements for a digital asset management solution. The guide covers:
- Common capabilities enabled by DAM solutions.
- Differentiation among DAM use cases for Basic, Intermediate and Advanced solutions.
- Current market direction.
- Marketing recommendations.
"Faced with rapidly expanding volume and velocity of content, real-time personalization variations, and global distribution, more organizations are investigating DAM solutions.
"Marketing leaders should scope requirements from basic to advanced to navigate a complex and changing landscape."
Some of the key findings identified in the report include:
Increased need for 'orchestrated content development and storage'
With more and more marketing touchpoints, a challenge has arisen for marketers in regards to content development and storage. DAM solutions enable those marketers to deliver assets that can be used for advanced marketing functions, including personalisation across different channels.
Creative teams have less time
The need for constantly creating new digital assets is a challenge for marketers. A DAM system enables creative teams to make better use of existing assets, helping them to meet content development demands more efficiently.
Consumers expect brand consistency
The modern consumer expects brand consistency every time they interact with your brand. As a result of social media and digital channels, they are doing so more than ever.
A DAM, like ResourceSpace, allows marketing teams to widely distribute assets while retaining control over those assets, ensuring the most up-to-date content is used every time. The report states: "As a result, DAM solutions have become a vital component of efficient martech ecosystems."
