We’re delighted to announce the launch of ResourceSpace Labs, giving all our customers access to a separate ResourceSpace instance running our development branch.
ResourceSpace Labs is open to all users on paid plans, and allows you to stay up to date with every new feature and improvement, as they happen, at no extra cost.
ResourceSpace Labs is more than just a testing area. Let’s take a look at what our customers can achieve with it.
At the time of writing we've just launched ResourceSpace v11, which completely overhauls the user interface. This latest iteration of ResourceSpace has been designed with modern UX principles and accessibility standards at its core, and makes the system even more intuitive and user friendly. Find out more about what was included in ResourceSpace v11 below:
With ResourceSpace Labs, our customers will always have access to all new developments as they’re completed. All projects that are being worked on, prior to a release, will be added to the Labs systems beforehand. For example, v11.1 (scheduled for October 2026), is set to include further UX improvements, improved search integration with the CLIP plugin, and the full implementation of Typesense, which will provide significantly faster keyword searching on large datasets.
There’s a reason that we’re opening up ResourceSpace developments to our customers before they’re fully released: we want to hear what you think.
The ResourceSpace Labs environment will enable you to test out new features and functionality before they’re officially released. You’ll be able to provide feedback to the ResourceSpace team on what’s valuable, what’s missing and any changes you’d like to see.
As always, you can follow the progress of the developments we’re currently working on in the ResourceSpace roadmap.
The good news is, existing customers don’t have to do anything to activate ResourceSpace Labs. If you’re on any paid package, you’ll be able to access the new test instance through your ResourceSpace Extranet, at no extra cost. Just look for the link at the bottom of the service page. However, if you do have any questions about how Labs works and how to get the best out of it, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Labs is just one DAM feature that sets ResourceSpace apart from our competitors. To find out more about why leading organisations across multiple sectors, including charities, arts and heritage, academic and product marketing choose ResourceSpace, book your free discovery call below.
