Open source
The World Wide Web largely has open source software at its core and ResourceSpace is proud to be among those supporting the cause. The OSI (Open Source Initiative) is intended to help the many to make the most of the software that is produced, thereby furthering mankind's common interests, rather than those of just an individual or single organisation. The OSI defines Open Source Software with the following from its website:
Open source software is software that can be freely used, changed, and shared (in modified or unmodified form) by anyone. Open source software is made by many people, and distributed under licenses that comply with the Open Source Definition.
The Open Source Initiative (OSI) is a global non-profit organisation that supports and promotes the open source movement. Among other things, we maintain the Open Source Definition, and a list of licenses that comply with that definition. See our about and history pages for more.
