How ResourceSpace helps you to manage social media assets

Whatever your industry, social media is an essential channel for marketing your business.

Whether you’re trying to reach consumers on Facebook or X, or B2B professionals on LinkedIn, these platforms represent one of the best ways to get in front of your target audience—but social media marketing needs assets. A lot of assets.

Getting these assets created, organised and managed is a big task, but ResourceSpace can make this process much easier for DAM Managers and marketing professionals.

Let’s take a closer look at how Digital Asset Management (DAM) can help you manage social media assets.

Store all social media assets in one place

As is the case with all digital assets, relying on insufficient solutions, like cloud storage, leads to disorganised asset workflows and inconsistent content creation. Dedicated DAM systems like ResourceSpace eliminate this problem by ensuring all your most important content is in one place.

Within ResourceSpace, DAM Managers can create dedicated social media collections where reusable assets and brand content can be found quickly. They can also ensure only the most up-to-date imagery is used.

Restrictions on individual assets and entire collections can also be set up so only relevant team members can access this content. The opposite is also true. Users creating social media content cannot access assets that shouldn’t be shared on social media—whether that’s because of usage rights or because they’re simply out of date.

Create on-brand social media assets

Social media is primarily a visual marketing channel, but creating all of those digital assets—alongside the accompanying copy and captions—can take a lot of time. It can also be difficult for marketing and DAM Managers to stay on top of everything that’s being made and ensure brand consistency.

To support this, ResourceSpace offers a number of integrations that make the creation of on-brand content assets much easier.

Adobe suite integration

Once you’ve chosen your stock image you can start creating your digital asset in the Adobe suite, with our integration allowing you to pull resources directly from the DAM.

This saves designers and marketers a lot of time otherwise spent downloading assets locally to reupload them into the design platform, significantly streamlining your production workflow.

The connection with the Adobe suite is made possible thanks to the LinkrUI integration, which allows ResourceSpace customers to access their resources in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.

The LinkrUI integration facilitates two-way connectivity, allowing you to upload finished assets into ResourceSpace once you’ve created them.

Brand guidelines integration

The ResourceSpace brand guidelines plugin allows you to set out compliance requirements for your brand, including what logos can be used and where, and which colours should be used in sales and marketing materials. You can also create tone of voice guidance for written collateral.

Use AI to write your social posts

Struggling with writer’s block? ResourceSpace’s GPT integration can actually help write your social media copy for you, suggesting relevant text based on the content of the image. This can save Social Media Managers and Executives a lot of time spent writing captions and short form content, allowing you to focus on more creative tasks.

Publish content directly to your social media channels

ResourceSpace offers a number of integrations that help you to create social media content, but you can also publish social media assets directly to those platforms from within the DAM.

Individual resources as well as entire collections can be shared across social media with a single click, including Facebook, X and LinkedIn, while you can also publish videos to YouTube and Vimeo. What’s more, our Falcon.io integration allows you to write and automate your social media posts (a Falcon account is required).

Pixabay and Shutterstock integrations

Stock images are a good starting point for creating social media content, and if you have an account with either Pixabay or Shutterstock you can import stock images directly into ResourceSpace from their vast libraries of assets thanks to our Image Banks integration.

This simplifies the process of downloading your stock images because you can remain within the DAM platform, rather than navigate to a separate website. All you have to do is use the image search functionality and select ‘Search external image banks’. Note that the DAM Manager can make this available to everyone, or restrict it to certain users.

Once you’ve found the image you want to use, you can either download it or, depending on permissions, use it to create a new resource in the DAM.

End-to-end social media content delivery

ResourceSpace enables organisations to manage the entire social media content creation and delivery process more easily, from storage and access through to creation and publication.
