New features in ResourceSpace 10.3
31st January 2024
We’re delighted to launch ResourceSpace 10.3, which includes lots of improvements to enhance your experience in the system. Read on for a video and summary showing how to make the most of the latest developments:

From 10.3 it can be found within the simple search panel. Depending on your permissions, it enables you to easily search by fixed list metadata, collections, and workflow states.
High contrast mode
We want ResourceSpace to be accessible to everyone, and from 10.3, we’ve added a high contrast mode. High contrast mode is available on an individual user basis via user preferences.
Image banks and searching other ResourceSpace systems

This will be a useful feature for teams who work with sister organisations or different departments that have their own ResourceSpace systems. It’s been designed to replace the ResourceConnect plugin, which will be removed in ResourceSpace 10.4.
Daily email for all outstanding actions
In ResourceSpace 10.3, we’ve introduced a new email preference that allows users to receive an email with a summary of all outstanding actions waiting for them in the system. The frequency of the emails is configurable and will include things like account requests, resource requests and workflow state changes.
Front end configuration options
To give Administrators more control over the system, we’ve added some extra options to the system configuration area. Admins can now:
