How will we use your information?

We may use your information for a number of purposes which includes: processing orders and managing and administering your account; delivering any services, products or information requested by you; responding to complaints or enquiries; administering debt recoveries and verifying your identity when required.

How long do we keep your information for?

To make sure we meet our legal data protection and privacy obligations, we only hold on to your information for as long as we actually need it for the purposes we acquired it for in the first place.

After that we will delete it other than where we lawfully can keep any data for audit or legal reasons. As part of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Montala has set retention periods for the data it holds. We shall keep data on our prospect database for not longer than 36 months from the date of last contact with such prospect subject to an individual's right to unsubscribe or be forgotten at any time.

Lawfulness, fairness and transparency

Montala has identified its lawful bases for processing data and documented them. Where the lawful basis was identified as  "Consent", Montala has reviewed the consent terms and re-requested permission from the data subject where it was necessary. Any personally identifiable information under our customer data is being processed under the "Contract" lawful basis.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please contact us (see section "How to contact us" below).

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

Information Security

Montala is committed to ensuring the fulfilment of customer needs and continuity of its business in the face of the threat of security breaches and unwanted events and has implemented an Information Security Management System (ISMS). This ISMS is compliant with ISO/IEC 27001, the international standard for information security.

As part of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Montala has implemented an Information Security Incident Management Procedure which ensures that all information security incidents are reported and investigated to determine the causal factors, rectify any faults, prevent re-occurrence and provide support and guidance where necessary.Montala is constantly reviewing and enhancing its technical, physical and managerial procedures and rules to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, accidental loss and/ or destruction. We use industry standard secure sockets layer (SSL) technology, for example, to send or receive secure messages when communicating with our customers regarding a support ticket.
